Please join the History Department in offering congratulations to Professor Michael Kwass, whose book Contraband has just won the Kenshur Prize of the Center for Eighteenth-Century Studies at Indiana University—now its third prize, to add to the Gilbert Chinard Prize from the Society for French Historical Studies and the Annibel Jenkins Biography prize from the American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies.
