Please join the history department in congratulating Nathan Connolly, who has just received the Liberty Legacy Foundation Award for his book A World More Concrete: Real Estate and the Remaking of Jim Crow South Florida. The award is given by the Organization of American Historians for “the best book by a historian on the civil rights struggle from the beginnings of the nation to the present.”
