PYNK: Black Femme in Slavery’s Archive (April 30 – May 1)
What are black womanhood, black femme, and black queer & trans* labors in the context of slavery, empire, and colonialism? How does slavery studies investigate race, gender, and sexuality, while attending to the ways the feminine operates with and beyond the body, over time and space? PYNK explores black femme and African diaspora femininity in slavery’s archive. In our discussions, the black feminine is the lens of investigation. Join us.
