Spend up to 6 months as a research fellow at the George Washington Library located at George Washington’s Mount Vernon in Virginia.

Research topics can include but are not limited to:

• George Washington
• Early American history
• Race, slavery, and abolition
• Fine arts and material culture in the 18th century
• Historic preservation

These funded research opportunities are available to historians, independent scholars, graduate students, teachers, school faculty, historic preservationists, and curators.
