Brown University’s History Graduate Student Association is delighted to share their Call for Papers for their upcoming conference: Expanding the Archive: Thinking Creatively Within and Beyond Historical Methodology. The conference will take place on October 24 and 25, 2025 at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, USA.

The conference will offer two paper awards: one Outstanding Paper ($400) and one Runner-Up ($250) will be selected. This opportunity is geared towards graduate students at all stages of their program/research. While the conference is focused on historical methodology, they invite students both in and beyond history departments to apply if they feel their work engages in any aspect of historical research.
