We have studios across the country in Washington, DC, New York City, Portland, Oregon and other remote locations. Please note that this internship will be a remote position.
We currently have eight full time staff members who were previous interns, demonstrating our dedication to the program.

What to expect from your internship experience:
● What’s your passion? Craft your own passion project with the intern team! This will be presented to the company at the end of the semester. This project allows you to have a fully realized project that you can use in your portfolio.
● Project Integration: While you’ll be working on many projects, you’ll have the opportunity to be fully integrated onto one project team, attending meetings and contributing to real project deliverables
● Dedicated mentorship from team members to understand your interests and how your experience can be crafted to you, informal and fun!
● Share your experience! Assemble and curate your own social media takeover highlighting what you’re working on.
● Studio Pal: You’ll be teamed up with a full time employee who you can approach with any questions during your experience.

Content/Coordination Intern
What will you do as a Content/Coordination Intern?:
● Participate in interpretive planning, including research and writing to support design concepts
● Coordinate, review, and manage client content as assigned
● Maintain databases for tracking images, script, and artifacts
● Assist coordination team with project deliverables for presentations and client meetings
● Copy edit content summaries, presentation decks, and other written material as needed
● Assist with image research and acquisition as directed
● Assist with content research as needed
● Assist with user-testing as needed
What do we look for in a Content/Coordination Intern?:
● Currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate program in Museum Studies, Public History, or a related field
● Excellent writing and communication skills
● Strong research skills
● Close attention to detail and ability to work within strict deadlines
● Ability to multitask and be proactive
● Strong people skills and business etiquette
● Knowledge of FileMaker Pro, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Suite preferred

Our internships are paid, and you will need work authorization for all positions:
● You need to be able to work legally in the U.S.
● For current international students, you are able to use CPT in order to legally work at G&A.
● For all others, you should have an approved OPT in order to work at G&A.
