We are excited to announce the opening of applications for The HistoryMakers Digital Archive 2025-2026 Student Ambassador program. The program is open to current sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students at The HistoryMakers Digital Archive’s subscribing institutions. For a complete list of subscribers, see here.

Throughout the course of the program, Student Ambassadors will develop expertise in the effective use of The HistoryMakers Digital Archive and work to promote its usage on their campuses. Ambassadors must be able to commit to 10 hours of work per week between June 2025 and April 2026. They will be paid $15 per hour of documented work.

In order to qualify, applicants must be available during the week of July 13 – 18, 2025 to participate in The HistoryMakers Digital Archive Innovation and Pedagogy Conference and Summer Education Institute. Applications are due no later than Friday, May 9, 2025.  Decisions will be announced during the week of May 19, 2025.
