Catherine Hinchliff grew up in the Seattle area and attended Reed College, in Portland, Oregon. She has been at Hopkins since the fall of 2014, working under the supervision of John Marshall. Her principal field of research is early modern Britain, with particular interest in gender, print culture, and political authority during the English Civil War period.
