Pawel Maciejko is an associate professor of history and the Leonard and Helen R. Stulman Chair in Classical Jewish Religion, Thought, and Culture. Research Expertise: Early modern history, Jewish history, intellectual history, and East-Central Europe.

Madeline Y. Hsu is professor of history at the University of Maryland College Park where she is director of the Center for Global Migration Studies and Affiliate Faculty with the Asian American Studies Program. Research Expertise: Asian American Studies, Immigration, Migration, Race and Ethnicity, and the United States.
